Job Opening: Assistant Professor in British Romantic Poetry, Baylor University (10/15/2016)

baylorBaylor seeks to fill the following tenure-track faculty position in the Department of English, within the College of Arts and Sciences:

Assistant Professor in British Romantic Poetry

The Department of English seeks a dynamic and creative scholar in British Romantic Poetry. A secondary field in one of the following areas is preferred but not required: literature and culture of the Black Atlantic; literature and religion; or European Romanticism. In addition to effective teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, the successful candidate will direct graduate students’ research, demonstrate a strong research agenda, maintain a successful publication record, and engage in service to the department and university. PhD must be in hand at the start of the appointment. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
